Pocket-sized kitchen garden

For all those who want to  start composting but don’t have  a garden, and/or for those who dream about working their own plot without the bother of transporting soil, Marie, former director of the startup incubator H7 and Charles, an engineer, created Ceercle.

Their 35 x 35 cm  self-fertilizing  composter and vegetable garden, made of baked clay, can green even the smallest balconies, while producing aromatic herbs, tomatoes, onions, strawberries or edible flowers.  Young shoots are fed using  household organic waste (such as peelings) in the ingenious built-in vermicomposter.

The cherry tomato on the heap?  Everything is local: the compost comesfrom Décines, the plants from Givorsand the worms from Caluire-et-Cuire.

The price for a complete kit starts at €259, from  KissKissBankBank
