Most people in Lyon who like books and music are familiar with this address... Located on Rue Pizay, Musicalame has stepped down after 16 years of loyal service, making way for Librairie à soi·e, a shop dedicated to women’s literature, created by Rosa.

We enjoy browsing the shelves of her bookshop, filled with “must-read” classics, such as Virginia Woolf, who inspired the shop’s name (Translator’s Note: ‘à soi’ is a reference to A Room of One’s Own), as well as “must-read” new releases and a superb selection of youth literature that fights stereotypes.
