Blowing in the wind

A groundswell on the horizon. In January, Mourad Merzouki is heading to the Maison de la Danse, where he will present the very latest creation by the company Käfig: Zéphyr.

Inspired by the Vendée Globe, the world’s biggest solo yacht race, and in collaboration with choreographer Mickaël Le Mer, this show transports spectators into a struggle between bodies and the elements.

Including electroacoustic music, singing voices and ethnic instruments, this new choreographical adventure brings together the winds and the tides, in a hand-to-hand duel with the forces of nature.
