How to charm the ears of young working people? With a chance to listen to strings, brass and piano as they enjoy their early evening drinks.
Things get started at 6 pm. In the Atrium, the evening gets off to a gentle start with drinks and La Fabuleuse Cantine’s anti-waste, short-supply-chain and local-produce recipes. Each evening has a different musical ambiance. In December and January, large workshops offer a chance to learn about music, comics and orchestral instruments. At 7 pm, the show begins with a short classical music concert played live.
After the show, the evening continues, with a laid-back, musical atmosphere, until 10 pm. The next event will be on the 16th of December, with a Wagner programme, played by the Lyon National Orchestra, conducted by Antony Hermus, and accompanied by video animations by Vincent Boujon, based on the Sigfried comics by Alex Alice. Wonderful!
On the 27th of January, the Lyon National Orchestra’s brass and percussion ensemble will be conducted by Rebecca Tong, as it performs extracts of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, in a fun brass band version, accompanied by actress Anne Brochet.
Finally, on the 10th of March, nine musicians from the Lyon National Orchestra will perform contemporary works by Louise Farrenc and George Onslow...
