Villeurbanne, 'capitale française de la culture 2022'

Get your diary out; it may soon be full!Certified by the French Ministry of Culture, Villeurbanne (see page 46) is promising us a lively year in 2022.
By putting youth at the heart of its plans, the town aims to offer culture everywhere and for everybody.

More than 700 events, mostly free, combining drama, dance, cinema, contemporary art and street art, are set to take place. The launch will be on the 7th of January.

Inauguration on 7 January 2022,
followed by the France – Ethiopia conference on 8 and 9 January 2022 
From 23 to 30 January 2022, the École de l’Anthropocène at the École Urbaine de Lyon.
