French films in the spotlight
Winter has to be the best season to enjoy the comfort and atmosphere found in cinemas.
Les Alizés, in Bron, certainly seems to think so, since it chose the month of January to hold its annual film festival ‘Drôle d’Endroit pour des Rencontres’.
For five days, films buffs and anybody who is curious are welcomed to discover the best of French art-house cinema, including short films, feature-length films, documentaries and fictional works. It also offers a chance to chat with actors and directors from the films shown (such as Arthur Rambo by Laurent Cantet and Une mère by Sylvie Audcoeur).…).
And because the festival’s team wants to make cinema accessible to all, a different session designed for people with disabilities will be put on for this anniversary edition, which will celebrate the thirtieth year of the festival!
Cinemas have never been so warm and welcoming!
