You are almost certainly familiar with the work of Susan Kare, the American graphic and typeface designer, which is being exhibited at the Musée de l’Imprimerie et de la Communication Graphique (Museum of Printing and Graphic Communication). A pioneer of pixel art, she worked with Steve Jobs during the creation of the first Macintosh computer to “humanize the system”. Many of her graphical interfaces, fonts and icons continue to be used in the digital world today, as well as in the street, in art, communication and signage. This colourful and universal collection can be explored as a family, for ages 5 and up.
