Mouth-watering exhibitions

It’s back! The Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie (International City of Gastronomy) has reopened its doors in the Grand-Hôtel-Dieu building for the delight of food lovers and epicureans. Among the three different exhibitions to explore is Banquet, produced by the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie de Paris. The fun and interactive exhibition design offers a chance for kids and grown-ups to try to assemble a layer cake, peel potatoes with a mandolin slicer, cook the perfect egg and more… Having a go is the best way to learn! Also, you can (re)discover the French art of table dressing and service, with the exhibition ‘Bonnes tables, belles tables’, and delve into the history of household appliances at Groupe Seb, which is celebrating its 165th anniversary. For little ones, there is the fun and colourful space ‘Miam Miam’, which was kept on from the previous version of the City of Gastronomy. Bon appétit!
