1922: Howard Carter opens up the tomb of Tutankhamun and makes one of the greatest discoveries of the twentieth century. One hundred years later, at La Sucrière in Lyon, you can walk in the footsteps of the famous archaeologist and discover the secrets of a historical location that still fascinates people around the world today.

The amazing exhibition ‘Toutankhamon, le pharaon oublié’ (Tutankhamun, the forgotten Pharaoh) will include a faithful reconstruction of the tomb and some 250 replicas made in the workshops of the Egyptian Museum of Cairo. It offers an immersive experience in the time of the Pharaohs, as you discover Ancient Egyptian funeral rites and the life of the young Tutankhamun.
