Pumpkin spice latte in Lyon : Trick or treat

The pumpkin spice latte, made from pumpkin purée mixed with milk and spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, star anise or cardamom according to taste), is one of the autumnal specialities of the Louisana Coffee Shop, which was opened in 2021 by two friends: Louise and Anaïs. 

In their artisanal café everything is home-made, starting with their original drinks, inspired by the whole world.

These include the famous pumpkin spice latte, a big favourite in the US, which they pimp out with textured coconut cream and a good strong shot of coffee.

To mellow it all out, customers can choose from four types of milk: oat, soy, coconut or cow’s. 

As for the pumpkin, the main ingredient of their autumn latte, it’s most often sourced from the local Agriz farm network, as Louise and Anaïs prefer to buy from local distribution networks.
